22. High Definition VIDEO: Crashing a gatecamp in High Definition - in My EVE [original thread]
If you haven't seen any of my other videos. Nothing I've done so far beats the capture and encoding quality than this final test right here. GatecampHD Right click, save as. Fyi, it's captured at 1920x1080 at a solid 30fps(1080/30p). Toss this...

26. VIDEO: 1080p proof of concept - in My EVE [original thread]
Edited by: Toaster Bagel on 05/02/2007 05:15:24 The biggest thing limiting 1080p caps is HDD speed. This would be what I would consider production quality for my EVE capturing. now that I've hammered out what I feel the best way to process a...

28. VIDEO: 720p proof of concept part 2. - in My EVE [original thread]
Ok.. For you doubting clowns that hate on Windows Media and swear by H.264(I do too but I'm able to achieve smaller files with WM) Ok, I kid, I kid. In my last 720p video there was an issue with the codec not being able to interpret the color gra...

29. VIDEO: 720p Proof of Concept - in My EVE [original thread]
Yes, I started with the 720p 5.1 HD profile for Windows Media the stock VBR 2-pass settings were even worse in terms of macroblocking. Turning it to CBR 6mbit didn't affect size all that much and guaranteed, or at least I thought, that it wouldn't...

30. VIDEO: 720p Proof of Concept - in My EVE [original thread]
I captured into RAW avi, the only time it was ever encoded was into Windows Media. No MPEG in this video. It's a strange colorization artifact of Windows Media. And MPEG2 is used for HD, ever watch digital cable or satelite?

31. VIDEO: 720p Proof of Concept - in My EVE [original thread]
Edited by: Toaster Bagel on 31/01/2007 03:05:25 So here we are, kids. This is my first EVE video and honestly it's quite lacking in terms of EVE content. I just wanted to see if I could do captures and edits in 720p. Well here's the result. ...

32. EVE Skill Planner - Mobile Edition - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
I saw this app and got immediately excited. I have 4 accounts and sometimes I just don't like running evemon on my office machine(it can be a bit of a resource hog). I think this program is great. I run it on a Samsung i730 Windows Mobile 2005 dev...

33. EVE on Vista? - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Vista beta 2 does install on nForce 4 SLi (with SLI cards installed). It's just that the video driver is tricky to get logged in the first time. It's not actually hung when you're stuck at the black screen. Restart the machine in safemode so you c...

34. Stability - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
I'm going to go out on a limb and say your ATI drivers are to blame. I have an SLI machine with 4 monitors and when SLI mode is off, each monitor has equal access to the cards resources in which they are connected. Even better, I can take a 3d ap...

35. 2+ monitor support - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Ah, but you can split the session across two or more monitors but they hvae to be using the same gpu. nVidia does this really well. When I have two monitors on a single card(I have an SLI machine with 4 monitors) and I have SLI turned off I can c...
